1924. In 1926 she organized the Latin American Bible Institute in San Diego (now in La Puente, California). Luce became a tireless spokesperson for the claims of Latin Americans on English-speaking congregations. She called repeatedly for Anglo Pentecostals’ recognition of the existence of Latin American congregations in both their own and neighboring communities. Simple gestures—a friendly look, an occasional greeting—would mean more than financial assistance, she urged. She called for identifying
